Shuttle / Transfer Policies
Kelowna Transfers offers transportation solutions to a large area of the Okanagan Valley. This includes ski shuttles, wedding transportation, corporate transportation, golf transportation as well as several forms of private transportation. When creating your reservation, please ensure to select the correct pick up time and location, as well as to provide any further relevant information we may need to be aware of in the “notes” section.
You will receive a confirmed pickup time via text message or email between 3:00PM – 7:00 PM the day prior to your tour transportation. If you do not receive a text message or email, or for same day reservations, please connect with our team directly at 250-575-5687. We suggest also sending an email to go@kelownatransfers.com
If you make a reservation for any of our “public” transportation options, there will be other guests in your vehicle.
Public Shuttles: Your public shuttle ticket includes two (2) pieces of checked luggage and one (1) carry-on piece of luggage. Additional luggage will be accepted at a rate of $20 / bag
Private Transfers: It is the sole responsibility of the guest to notify Kelowna Transfers of any travel delays, missed flight connections, or other travel delays as soon as reasonably possible. Kelowna Transfers will make every reasonable effort to reschedule your transfer to the next available time slot. In the event that a driver has already been dispatched / arrived at the confirmed pick up location, additional charges will apply.
LIABILITY
Kelowna Transfers makes every effort to provide on time service for all reservations. While we do our best, factors out of our control such as weather, traffic, accidents, road closures etc. can cause delays. Kelowna Transfers will not be held liable for any delays due to these factors.
Kelowna Transfers and our partners etc. reserve the right to refuse service to any guests disrupting service to other guests. This includes inebriation and/or unruly behaviour. Disruptive guests will be asked to leave the vehicle and separate transportation will be arranged at the guest’s expense. A refund will not be provided for any guest(s) asked to leave.
Delayed or cancelled flights/cruises: Kelowna Transfers will not be responsible for travel delays resulting from airlines, cruises, flight cancellations or any issues around flights/cruises that result in a guest missing a shuttle. We will make every attempt to reschedule your transportation for the next available time slot. If a guest makes other arrangements, Kelowna Transfers is not under any obligation to refund the guest.
Kelowna Transfers will not be held responsible for any expenses incurred by a guest relating to delayed travel.
Kelowna Transfers, our agents, representatives, employees etc., shall be held harmless and not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or loss of any kind whatsoever. By making a reservation with Kelowna Transfers, you agree to these terms.
In the event a private transfer is delayed more than 1 hour (60 minutes), from the scheduled pick up time, a fee of $50.00 per thirty (30) minutes will be added to your invoice.
PAYMENT
All bookings are considered “reserved” with collection of a deposit or full payment. Deposit payments can be via our online booking system and we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. If you prefer to speak with a member of our reservations team, deposit payments can be made over the phone at 250-575-5687. Etransfer is available to settle balances on account but not for creating a reservation unless payment is made in full.
Reservations cancelled 2 days or greater from the reservation date will be fully refunded. Within 2 days of your reservation, all bookings are considered final and you will be charged for the full amount of the reservation and no refund will be issued.
Private Shuttles / Transfers: The balance will be collected directly from your driver at your final destination. For your convenience, we also accept Debit, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Public Shuttles / Transfers: Full payment will be collected at the time of your reservation. We accept all major credit cards on our online reservation platform.
Your Kelowna Transfers driver and team member are the heartbeat of your experience. Should you feel they’ve done an exceptional job, suggested gratuity is 15-25%.
For all discounted shuttles / transfers reserved during sales campaigns / promotions, full payment will be collected at the time of booking.
All discounted shuttles / transfers booked through sales events are considered final sales. Refunds will not be issued, no exceptions. This policy overrides our standard policy for regular priced shuttles and transfers.
All group reservations with party size larger than 24 people are considered final 30 days or less from your shuttle / transfer date. This policy overrides our standard policy.
Shuttle and transfer rates are subject to change based on availability.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Kelowna Transfers is committed to offering our guests an unparalleled transportation experience. Your driver will foster a positive and fun atmosphere as you make your way to your destination. To ensure a positive experience is had by all, we ask that all our guests follow our code of conduct.
Alcohol is not to be opened or consumed in our vehicles as per Provincial law. Food and drinks are not permitted in tour vehicles with the exception of bottled water and snacks provided by Kelowna Transfers. Smoking / Vaping is not permitted in our vehicles. Any spills, excessive damage / mess to tour vehicles will result in a $500 fee charged to the cardholder that made the reservation.
Pet Policy: We love all four legged friends, however due to allergy sensitivities and cleaning protocols, pets are not permitted in shuttle vehicles unless traveling in a crate. Child Safety Seats: Child safety seats are available for $15 / seat. If required, please make sure to mention this in the “notes” section of your online reservation form or reach out via phone at 250-575-5687 or email at go@kelownatransfers.com
Items Left in Shuttle Vehicles: Your driver will make every effort to ensure that all baggage and personal items are handed to you at your destination. Please ensure that you have received all of your property. Kelowna Transfers will not be responsible for items left in our vehicles once you have been dropped off. This includes not only purchases, but wallets, keys, phones etc..In the case we are required to return to your destination to deliver items left in our vehicles, an additional fee will apply.
Shuttle / Transfer Vehicles:
Kelowna Transfers reserves the right to change vehicles (make, model, capacity etc.. due to unforeseen / extenuating circumstances.
