Why Choose Monashee Powder Snowcats As Your Revelstoke Cat Ski Operator?
Monashee Powder Snowcats is located on the leading edge of the Monashee Mountain range, about 30 kms southwest of Revelstoke and 30 kms south of Hwy 1, an area unsurpassed for its quantity and quality of snow. Our average annual snowfall of 60 feet of dry, champagne powder can get you fresh tracks every run on our five alpine ridges, spectacular natural glades and fantastic open tree skiing. The 17,000 acres of Monashee Powder's terrain has been described as heaven on earth.
Tsuius Lodge is centrally located in our terrain, which allows for a 10 to 15 minute cat ride to your first tracks of the day! Compared to a town-based ski holiday, this means that you get more time on the mountain, more time relaxing and more laughs with your new friends!
Our Main Lodge is inviting with an open dining room, wine bar and separate lounge area upstairs. Downstairs is complete with the full service Treewell Bar, pool table, flat-screen TV, comfortable couches and breathtaking 360° vistas of the Monashee Mountains.
The Guest Chalet, completed in November 2010, is a 3-storey (6000 sq ft) lodge that sleeps all 24 guests in 16 bedrooms. Each room has its own en-suite and thermostat to control the in-floor heating. We have added a larger drying room with an air-circulated boot rack plus an area for your clothing. A larger hot tub is now located on the Chalet deck for everyone to enjoy the mountain views and alpenglow. A new hot tub will be built in September 2021 at the back of the guest lodge.
In both the Main Lodge and the Guest Chalet we provide Wi-Fi satellite internet so you can tell your friends and family about the great ski day you just enjoyed.
Our chefs' describe their cuisine as "mountain or backcountry fine dining with an eclectic flair". Our guests are delighted by every meal, created with fresh ingredients and organic meats.
Enjoy three meals a day freshly prepared by our excellent chefs. The baker sets out a lovely lunch buffet every morning so you can choose from a great variety of fresh foods and home-made breads. We have complimentary hors d'oeuvres after your long day of skiing, which can be enjoyed at our full service bar, on the couch beside a soothing fire, or even in our relaxing hot tubs with friends.
We feature British Columbia wines from the Okanagan Valley chosen by our wine representative. Our wine selection varies in price and taste, our bartender or staff members will be happy to advise on their favourites.

Mustang Powder Cat Skiing
Welcome to Mustang Powder Cat Skiing. Quite simply, the Northern Monashee Mountains northwest of Revelstoke, British Columbia, are arguably the best place on the planet for quantity and quality of snow. Mustang normally gets significantly more snow than any of its competitors due to its location on the Western edge of the Monashees....the storms hit us first!
When it is snowing lots in southern British Columbia all operations have great powder skiing. However, it is during the dry spells when Mustang’s monstrous amount of terrain (especially north aspect terrain) will still provide good untracked powder skiing.
Some cat skiing operations have 10-20 km of snow road adjacent to a ski hill. Mustang has exactly 443 km of snow road! Visualize how much terrain that accesses?
K3 Cat Ski
Welcome to K3 Cat Ski! Our tenure is in excess of 33,000 acres and this winter the area we will be skiing and snowboarding is on a mountain known locally as K3. We ski and snowboard the entire mountain and the varied terrain provides an excellent mix of runs. Many of the runs are treed with a nice pitch, but we do have wide open alpine areas where you can enjoy long cruising runs. As well, you can experience great skiing in the South Park burn and when stability is good we have some exceptional steep tree skiing on slopes up to 50 degrees!
Our runs average 1500 vertical feet and range from 1200 to 3000 vertical feet. Most of our runs are high up on the mountain, ending at around the 5000 foot elevation so we generally have good snow conditions all winter. Our highest elevation is over 7400 feet and the lowest point is around 4000 feet. Also, more than half of our runs are North and East aspect and this helps ensure good snow in all weather conditions.
We are located in the Anstey range of the Monashee Mountains and so enjoy some of the best snow there is. We also get a lot of snow, averaging around 50 feet each winter.
Great Northern Snowcat Skiing
Since 1979, the Great Northern Snowcat Skiing has been your gateway to the Selkirks’ legendary powder. So, ditch the lifts and experience the thrill of winter with us.
At Great Northern, we believe in doing things differently. Our boutique approach prioritizes the experience over the numbers. Here, you’ll find a family-like atmosphere where deep powder skiing, great food, and the ski bum lifestyle come together in perfect harmony.
